Come hang out at Make Nashville 3D Modeling Thursdays and learn how to design almost anything to be 3D-printed, cut out on the CNC, or just plan a build. Learn about CAD, 3D-printing, and digital sculpting! Make Nashville uses Meshmixer, Fusion 360, Solidworks, AutoCAD, and more! These skills can be useful for hobbyists or industry professionals-to make art or mechanical designs! Please bring your projects and prints and let Make Nashville know what you’re working on. There will be software demos, tips and tricks and a bit of fun.

Make Nashville is a volunteer-led organization that was founded in 2012 to be the focal point of the maker movement in the region and became a registered federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2015. They provide the gathering place, the community, training, tools, and opportunity for everyone to experience the transformative experience of making.
They have been putting on the Nashville Mini Maker Faire since 2013, sharing STEAM education and our passion for making with as many as 6,000 people. For the first four years they held the Faire at the Adventure Science Center. Since 2017 Make Nashville has partnered with their new host, Vanderbilt University’s Wond’ry.
In mid 2016, after years of planning, fundraising, and the efforts of dozens of volunteers Make Nashville opened Nashville’s first all-ages non-profit makerspace and as of March 2019 they have moved into a new larger facility! This over 12,000 square foot facility enables them to host workshops, builds, events, and provide members with the space and equipment to create some truly amazing things. In the last year, they have seen inspiring art installations, amazing concerts, innovative inventions, incredible feats of science and technology, market-changing entrepreneurial prototypes, skill-strengthening projects, crazy and fun maker builds, and awesome feats of education in the space.
